Join us on Tuesday, June 25 from 6:30PM - 8:30PM for the annual Russ & Daughters Herring Pairing — this year, for the first time, we’re thrilled to invite you to this party in Brooklyn at Russ & Daughters at the Brooklyn Navy Yard (Building 77: 141 Flushing Avenue at Vanderbilt Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11205). Take part in an evening celebrating the wonders of herring, including the prized New Catch Holland Herring (Hollandse Nieuwe). We’ll experience this piece of gastronomic heaven — the fabulous, buttery, and mild matjes (young) herring — at the peak of its season.
You’ll enjoy Russ & Daughters’ delectable herring preparations in our beautiful space in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. During the event you’ll have the opportunity to see our newest location, which is made up of our bakery, kitchens, nationwide shipping hub, and a retail appetizing counter.
Also joining the celebration will be a special musical guest. Of course we’ll have a specially selected lineup of spirits, cocktails, and beer that pair perfectly with herring dishes.

SUBWAY: Nearest Subways to Building 77: York St (F), High St-Brooklyn Bridge (A,C), and Clinton-Washington Av (G): each is about a 15-minute walk or a short Uber/Lyft ride to Building 77 (141 Flushing Avenue at Vanderbilt Avenue).
BUS: The B57 and B69 travel along Flushing Ave and stop one block from Building 77. You may also take the B62, which stops on Park Ave, one block south of the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

DRIVING: Use 63 Flushing Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11205 for GPS navigation to the Yard. On-street and metered parking is available outside of the Yard on Flushing Avenue and on many of the adjacent streets. Non-metered parking is available underneath the BQE along Park Avenue.
